We at the Energy Research Institute Dresden e.V. are a young association in the field of electrical energy technology with a focus on protection and high-current technology.

As an association, social benefit is at the center of our activities. The focus is on consulting, networking, promotion and mediation. This takes place on 2 levels: On the one hand, we strive to offer players within the specialist community further training and networking opportunities, e.g. through colloquia and publications. On the other hand, we want to disseminate current research and development results of general relevance outside the specialist world and thus support interdisciplinary communication.
This creates a bridge between science, business, politics and society, which promotes the practical relevance of science and thus brings direct benefits to society.
